The current distribution version is 2.5.10.21.03. version 2.5, released 10.21.03. You can find the full version stamp at the beginning of each of the script files in the package.

January 24, 2004 11:35:29 PM: I have updated the setup.cgi install script. The use of fastgetcwd is not supported reliably. If you obtained the install102103.zip prior to this date, download the package again for the updated setup.cgi. Or you can just go into setup.cgi around line 116 and replace "fastgetcwd" with "cwd" There is some more information on that here.

January 19, 2004 7:33:46 PM : I have corrected some things in the 5 mail file examples in the install pkg. Currency symbol was not printing, descriptions were not printing, and I also formatted the Total summaries a little different. If you downloaded the install pkg prior to 01-19-04, and want to update your installation with the new mail files, then replace the 5 *.mail files you have with these (mail011904.zip).

MOFcart ver 2.51 planned for early 2004:

This is a planned upgrade that will contain features I wanted to put in the ver 2.5 release, but did not put in because v2.5 was already way over delayed. So I found a stopping place for v2.5, with some of the features in the works. The upgrade should install over v2.5 easily, by replacing some of the files. I do plan to move all custom computations for shipping, discount, tax, insurance to external "drop-in" files, so if you are using any custom code in your ver 2.5 pkg, then you will need to move it to an external file to use the ver2.51 upgrade. Other stuff that will go into the ver 2.51 upgrade will install alongside ver 2.5 files, as they are new files. I will add a basic Online Admin tool, with mySQL ability for Backend customer & order management. They will be new files and utilize the ver 2.5 mySQL dB structure.
